Tedx Portobello: There’s always something to say…

At the kind invite of Tedx Portobello organisers, Jo Holtan and Dani Trudeau – the lovely, not to be messed with AmeriScot duo behind connectivity hub, Tribe Porty – Sarah performed a talk at the weekend under the title, From Wow Design to We Design.

Among many of her collaborations and projects created via Snook, Sarah spoke in depth about the value of Dearest Scotland as an open source platform which offers people, who are not designers per se, the opportunity to take forward their own version of the initiative into their nation, local area or educational institution.

Located by the picturesque setting of Portobello’s seafront in Edinburgh, the event was a great success. Among the other speakers were doctor and award-wining writer, Gavin Francis; artist, author and poet Max Scratchmann, and anthropologist and lecturer, Oonagh O’Brien.

We’ll post Sarah’s talk right here once it becomes available shortly.
